Itinerary

Check in to your hotel in Dharchula. Dharchula is a serene town on the banks of the Kali River, bordering Nepal. En route, enjoy the scenic views of the lush green hills and valleys. Upon arrival in Dharchula, check in to your hotel. If time permits, explore the local market and visit Darchula town (Nepal side of Dharchula).

After breakfast, check out the hotel. First obtain the Inner Line Permit required for traveling further into the region. With the permit in hand, embark on the journey to Gunji, approximately 80 km away. The drive takes you through breathtaking landscapes, offering glimpses of the majestic Himalayas and verdant valleys. Reach Gunji by evening and settle into your accommodation for an overnight stay. Gunji, situated at the confluence of the Kuthi Yankti and Kali rivers, serves as a serene and strategic stopover for travelers. Enjoy the peaceful ambiance and prepare for the next leg of your adventure.

Stop for Lunch: Pangla or Budhi

Early in the morning after breakfast, start for the journey to Jolingkong, approximately 35 km away. The route offers stunning views of the Himalayas. On arrival, visit Adi Kailash, revered as the ‘Chota Kailash,’ for a spiritually enriching experience. Explore Parwati Sarovar, a pristine glacial lake with serene surroundings. Spend some time absorbing the tranquility and the majestic beauty of the place. After the darshan, return to Gunji for an overnight stay, reflecting on the day’s memorable experiences.

After breakfast, check out the hotel/homestay and start for Nabhidhang, located around 18 km away. Marvel at the majestic Om Parvat, where the natural snow deposition forms a sacred ‘Om’ symbol. After spending time soaking in the divine ambiance, visit the Kali Temple at Kalapani, a revered site with spiritual significance. Post temple visit, drive back to Dharchula. The route offers captivating views of the Himalayan landscape. Arrive in Dharchula by evening for an overnight stay, concluding your spiritually enriching and scenic journey.

Cancellation Policy:
♦ 10% of trip cost will be charged in case you cancel the trip 45 days before trip start day.
♦ 25% of trip cost will be charged in case you cancel the trip 30-44 days before trip start day.
♦ 50% of trip cost will be charged in case you cancel the trip 15-29 days before trip start day.
♦ No refund in case you cancel the trip 14 days before trip start day.
♦ No refund for unused or partial used services.
♦ Full refund if we cancel the trip.

♦ Your Police Verification will be done at Dharchula. If you are declared unverified, your trip will be cancelled and no refund will be initiated.
♦ There may be a basic medical checkup at Dharchula. If you are found unfit, your trip will be cancelled and no refund will be initiated.
♦ There should be no heart and lungs patient. If you have any of the heart and/or lungs related issue, please consult your doctor and also let us know. Please note that we are not doctors and we have no doctor in our team.
♦ Your BMI (Body Mass Index) should not be more than 32.
♦ Homestays in Gunji/Nabi will be like dormitory. These are very basic properties with Indian style common washroom.
♦ Meals in homestays in Gunji/Nabi will be very simple. Dal, sabzi, roti, chawal in dinner and tea, bread-omelets or roti sabzi or aalu paratha in breakfast.
♦ Itinerary may be changed without prior information due to any reason (like weather, political reason etc). No refund will be given in case of a missed itinerary.
