Itinerary
- Day 01: Arrive Srinagar
Cab will pick you up from Srinagar airport and transfer to your hotel/houseboat. After check in, take some rest and then go on a sightseeing tour of Srinagar. Visit the Mughal Gardens i.e. Shalimar Garden, Chashm-e-Shahi Garden and Nishat Garden. Back to hotel/houseboat in the evening. - Day 02: Srinagar to Doodhpathri Excursion (45+45 km)
After breakfast, drive towards Doodhpathri. The name ‘doodpathri’ means Valley of Milk. The water which is at present flowing through the meadows has a milky appearance from the distance and remains very cold throughout the year.The lush green grasses over the vast meadows and silver shining streams running over the large stones further increase its beauty. Doodhpathri lies in a bowl shaped valley in the Pir Panjal Range of the Himalayas, at an altitude of 2,730 m (8,957 ft) above sea level. It is an alpine valley covered with snow clad mountains and the meadows of Pine Fir and Deodar. The natural meadows, which are covered with snow in winter, allow the growth of wild flowers such as daisies, forget-me-nots and butter cups during spring and summer. Back to Srinagar. Dinner & Overnight stay at Hotel/Houseboat. - Day 03: Srinagar to Sonmarg Excursion (80+80 km)
After breakfast, start your journey towards Sonmarg. It is a picturesque hill station known for its breathtaking beauty and pristine landscapes. Surrounded by snow-capped mountains and lush meadows, it is a popular destination for nature lovers and adventure enthusiasts. Here you can enjoy a pony ride or trekking for Thajiwas Glacier (At your own cost). Back to Srinagar and night stay in hotel/houseboat. - Day 04: Srinagar to Gulmarg Excursion (55+55 km)
After breakfast, start your journey towards Gulmarg. The valley is surrounded by snow-covered mountains from all sides and is among Asia’s famous ski destinations and is known for its winter sports and activities. Here you can enjoy a pony ride or Gondola ride (At your own cost). The Gulmarg Gondola is one of the highest in the world reaching 3979 Meter. Back to Srinagar and night stay in hotel/houseboat. - Day 05: Gulmarg to Pahalgam (140 km)
After breakfast, check out the hotel and start your journey to Pahalgam. Pahalgam is also called the “Valley of Shepherds”. It is located at an altitude of 7200 feet on the banks of the Lidder River and is famous for being the location for the shooting of many Bollywood films. Check in to your hotel. You can visit Betab Valley, Chandanwari and Aru Valley (by local taxi at extra cost payable directly to the local taxi driver). - Day 06: Pahalgam Sightseeing
After breakfast, go on a sightseeing tour of Pahalgam. You can explore the enchanting Betab Valley, Chandanwari, visit the scenic Aru Valley and experience the serene beauty of the Lidder River. Pahalgam is known for its captivating landscapes, making it a popular destination for nature lovers and those seeking tranquility. You can enjoy river rafting near Pahalgam (at your own cost). Night stay in hotel in Pahalgam. - Day 07: Pahalgam to Srinagar (90 km)
After breakfast, check out the hotel and drive towards Srinagar. You can enjoy river rafting near Pahalgam (at your own cost). Check in to pre booked hotel/houseboat in Srinagar. Take some rest. Then go for a sightseeing tour of Srinagar. You can enjoy shikara ride in Dal Lake in the evening. - Day 08: Departure from Srinagar
After breakfast, check out the hotel/houseboat. Cab will drop you at Srinagar Airport.
