Itinerary

In the afternoon, check in to your hotel in Manali and take rest. You may go on a sightseeing tour of Manali at your own cost. Tour briefing in the evening by tour coordinator.

Extra Cost: Pickup and local sightseeing (if you choose, pay directly to the driver on the spot)

After breakfast, check out the hotel and start for Jispa. Visit Solang Valley. You can indulge in adventure activities such as paragliding, zorbing, skiing and snowboarding, depending on the season. You can also take a ropeway to get a bird’s eye view of the valley. After Solang Valley, you will pass through Atal Tunnel. The tunnel is a marvel of engineering and is an attraction in itself. It connects Manali to Lahaul-Spiti valley and reduces travel time significantly. Enjoy the scenic views around. After Atal Tunnel, you will reach Sissu. Sissu is located on the banks of the Chandra River, and you can take a walk along the river and enjoy the beautiful scenery around. Visit the Sissu Waterfall, which is located a short distance away from the village. The waterfall is a popular attraction and is surrounded by lush greenery. Reach Jispa in the evening via Tandi and Keylong. Check in to your hotel/camp in Jispa.

After early breakfast, start your journey towards Leh. Road goes through Deepak Tal, Suraj Tal, Baralacha La, Sarchu, Gata Loops, Naki La, Lachulung La, Pang, Morey Plains and Tanglang La. Night stay in hotel in Leh.

After breakfast, start for Sham Valley sightseeing. Visit Gurudwara Patthar Sahib, Magnetic Hill and Nimmu Sangam. At Nimmu Sangam, Indus and Zanskar rivers meet. You may do river rafting and bunjee jumping here (at your cost). While back to Leh, visit Spituk Monastery and Hall of fame. Hall of Fame remains closed on Monday. In the afternoon, visit Shanti Stupa and Leh Palace. Then cab will drop you at your hotel. Spend the evening in your own way like visiting Leh Market and shopping etc.

Extra Cost: Entry charge for Hall of Fame and Leh Palace. River rafting or any activity at Nimmu Sangam.

After breakfast, check out the hotel and proceed for Nubra Valley via Khardungla Pass. Visit Diskit Monastery. Check in to your hotel/camp in Nubra Valley. After some rest, proceed for a visit to the White Sand Dunes in Hunder. You can enjoy the camel ride (at your own). Night stay in camp/hotel.

After Breakfast drive to Turtuk. Turtuk was under Pakistan’s control until 1971, after which India gained control of this strategic area. It is predominantly a Muslim village and residents speak Balti, Ladakhi and Urdu. Turtuk is the last outpost in India after which the Pakistan-controlled Gilgit-Baltistan begins. Back to Nubra and night stay in hotel/camp.

After breakfast drive to Pangong Lake via Shyok. The main attraction of this circuit is the Pangong Lake, situated at 14,000 feet. A long narrow basin of inland drainage, hardly six to seven kilometers at its widest point to which foreigners are permitted, is only some seven km along the southern shore from the head of the lake, but it affords spectacular views of the mountains of the Changchenmo range to the north, their reflection shimmering in the ever-changing blues and greens of the lakes brackish water. Night stay in camps near the lake.

After breakfast, start your journey towards Leh Via Chang La Pass. On the way Rancho School and Sindhu Darshan. Cab will drop you at your hotel. Spend the evening in your own way like visiting Leh Market and shopping etc.
