Itinerary
(Best Time: Dec to Mar)
- Day 01: Chandigarh to Narkanda (170 km)
Cab will pick you up from Chandigarh and transfer to Narkanda. The journey usually takes around 7 to 8 hours, subject to traffic and road conditions. Check in to your hotel and take rest.
- Day 02: Narkanda to Kalpa/Reckong Peo (160 km)
After breakfast, check out the hotel and start for Kalpa/Reckong Peo. Check in to your hotel/homestay. Witness the majestic presence of the Kinnaur Kailash peak, offering a breathtaking backdrop. If time permits, explore the Rola Cliff (Suicide Point), offering panoramic views of the lush valleys below.
- Day 03: Kalpa/Reckong Peo to Tabo (170 km)
After breakfast, check out the hotel and start for Tabo. Enroute visit Khab Sangam, where Sultej and Spiti rivers meet. Then visit Nako monastery and Nako lake. Have lunch at Nako. Cross dangerous Maling Nala zone. Visit Gue Monastery which is famous for Lama’s mummy (preserved dead body). Check in to your hotel/homestay in Tabo. Tabo is famous for its 1000+ years old monastery. It is called Ajanta of Himalayas for its wall paintings. You may go to Tabo caves also.
- Day 04: Tabo to Kaza via Dhankar (65 km)
After breakfast, check out the hotel and start for Kaza. Take link road for Dhankar monastery from Shichling village. It is also very old monastery with awsome views of Spiti valley. Check in to your hotel/homestay in Kaza. Visit Kaza Monastery and market in the Evening.
- Day 05: Excursion to Extreme Villages
After breakfast, be ready for extreme high altitude adventure of Spiti Valley. Visit Chicham Bridge (Asia’s hightest suspension bridge), Kibbar village and Kee Monastery. Back to your hotel/homestay in Kaza.
- Day 06: Excursion to Extreme Villages
After breakfast, continue for extreme high altitude adventure of Spiti Valley. Visit Langza (famous Buddha statue), Komic (world’s highest motorable village) and Hikkim (world’s highest post office). Back to your hotel/homestay in Kaza.
- Day 07: Kaza to Kalpa/Reckong Peo (220 km)
After breakfast, check out the hotel and start for Kalpa/Reckong Peo via Tabo and Nako. Check in to your hotel/homestay in Kalpa or Reckong Peo.
- Day 08: Kalpa/Reckong Peo to Chandigarh Drop (340 km)
After breakfast, check out the hotel and start for Chandigarh via Shimla. The journey usually takes around 10 to 12 hours, subject to traffic and road conditions. Cab will drop you at Chandigarh airport or railway station.

♦ 75% of trip cost will be charged in case you cancel the trip 7-14 days before trip start day.
♦ No refund in case you cancel the trip 0-6 days before trip start day.
♦ No refund for unused or partial used services.
♦ Full refund if we cancel the trip. Please note that no additional compensation or payment will be provided.
Term & Conditions:
♦ There should be no heart and lungs patient. If you have any of the heart and/or lungs related issue, please consult your doctor.
♦ Your BMI (Body Mass Index) should not be more than 32.
♦ Alcohol is strictly prohibited during the trip.
♦ Minimum temperature may drop up to minus 30 degree.
♦ Regular toilets may be frozen and non-operational. So you may have to use Local Spitian Pit Toilets.
